COVID-19: Continued Support for Erskine and its Ministries

As you know, the situation with Covid-19 has placed our Erskine family in a new and challenging situation. We can only imagine the new challenges your own family is facing. Our hope is that no matter what each day brings, you will pause and, as often as you are able, give this burden over to the Lord. He has seen his people through countless times of trials. He has always been faithful. As the scriptures tell us, he “is the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8).

During this time, we are asking you, our congregation, for your continued financial support. We continue to have needs to fulfill, such as our building requires upkeep and our staff, who are still working, need to be paid. Our need for support is doubly apparent because our building has to remain closed, and thus we cannot depend on our normal revenue from renters. Our financial team have put together a list of ways which you can contribute your financial support through this time.

We greatly appreciate your financial contributions for the continuation of Erskine and its ministries to our congregation and community.

Blessings to you and your family,
Erskine Elders

Ways to Financially Support Erskine During This Period:

  • Mail a cheque with your typical weekly givings. Someone will be here to collect and deposit cheques.
  • Transfer funds electronically. Erskine has set up an email for the purposes of accepting e-transfers. They can be sent to
  • Sign-up for direct withdrawal. Many of our members use this method. Simply fill out the form attached and mail it to Erskine with a void cheque or you can also scan it and email it to

COVID-19: Important Announcements from Pastor Mike

    Mar 16, 2020

The leadership of our church met yesterday to pray and discuss the impact of the Corona virus on our congregation. As shepherds of the church our concern for our people is paramount. For this reason, the Session has decided to suspend all church gatherings until April 4th. This refers to Alpha, social events, Sunday services and every other church group that would meet until that time. Erskine will be reaching out to our renters to inform them, for health and safety reasons, we are suspending external groups from gathering at the church until April 4th. On Thursday April 2nd the elders will meet to reassess the situation.

Erskine’s vision statement is to be a “healthy loving family, for each and every neighbor.” We have no plans to neglect this belief or practice during the corona virus. We are here for you. This week while Cam is on vacation, Pastor Mike will be maintaining office hours at the church to ensure someone is at the building on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9am-12pm. You can reach him on his cell: 905-407-1324, or via email:

Additionally, please reach out to your shepherds if you are in need. Our church family plans to rally together to an example of love and support during this time.

    Blessings to you all,
Pastor Mike Aldred & the Erskine elders
